Only thing that makes sense as far as trades go would be if CF gave Seattle something not to take one of the other exposed guys, like Braun, Hagg or Sandstrom.

Otherwise, the situation doesn't fit the profile of an induced selection.

I suspect after today Seattle fills out roster more through trades than UFA signings. To leverage their cap space and get the picks and prospects and young guys their draft strategy is clearly targeting.

And btw, I strongly suspect they have the next 2 drafts pick positions very much in mind.

We're in a flat cap era. Cap space is gold and that is the market. Team's aren't looking to do other teams any favors. If you want to move cap, expect to get screwed and the team in the drivers seat is Seattle.
