How much can you pay a decent player that’ll make him want to join an expansion team filled with 80% ahl talent? - jchst22
They actually have glut of middle six and depth offensive talent. They're missing a couple of top six forwards.
Their defense currently includes Gio, Oleksiak, Larsson and Dunn.
I'm not saying this is a sexy lineup, but they're far from a team being filled with 80% AHL talent.
$28M is enough to add Landeskog, Hamilton and more. |

I hope we move Zucker and Pettersson. I wouldn't mind being players in FA. Granlund, Tatar, Coleman and Palmieri. They all could be solid FA pickups. |
|
|
|
Agreed. If Seattle didnt take Zucker for free, I think that tells us a bit about his value around the league.
And I'm fine keeping Zucker. Hopefully he stays healthy and plays well with Carter.
Right now, here are my lines:
Jake-Crosby-Rust
Zucker-Carter-_____
_____-Blueger-Kapanen
ZAR-Gaudreau-AHL guy/cheap UFA
I think we need to find a good 2nd line RWer. I like Kapanen on the 3rd line. If we move Pettersson, we should have the money to find some nice targets for 2nd/3rd line holes. - SuperHenderson13
I think 3rd and 4th lines need to be filled by baby pens on the cheap. Upgrades need to be top 6 and a nasty Dman. |

I think UFA's will still go there if an offer is good. I was mostly talking about other teams wanting to dump pretty good players because of a cap squeeze. Like JVR for instance. No need to take him as your draft pick when Philly might cough up a pick or prospect to take him off their hands after the ED. |

I like keeping bottom 6 spots open for a rotation of Wilkes barre guys. Seems like whoever gets called up is fine for a few games then burns out. Just keep them hungry and fighting for spots u til someone earns it |

Besides the cap space... the other big win for tonight is Jordan franking Eberle leaving the division. That guy killed us everytime we played them.
Did the Islanders really protect Clutterbuck and Martin over Eberle? Wow. - SuperHenderson13
Yea I'm glad he's (frank)ing gone. |

Ask Larsson and Oleksiak. They didn't even go to free agency and both would have had other offers. |

Don't forget Hayden Fleury on D as well. Honestly McCann-Gourde-Eberle is a solid 2nd line. |

I think Seattle gets Palat off of Tampa. That'll be the start of their 1st line. They may even go at Tarasenko too. Probably try and sign Landeskog. They need the first line wingers to be really good because it doesn't seem like they are getting a first line center. |

Gotta find the right ones. We one a cup with khunackl, Scott Wilson, and Ron hainsey, yeah there is no prospects but somebody gonna have to step up so money can go where it’s needed most. A crease crasher and a crease clearer. And maybe a goalie. |

From the sounds of reports out there, multiple offers and slightly bigger in salary and term for both. |

I feel like they may take a shot at signing both Danault and Tatar. |

Free up space so Tampa can sign Tatar. It’s a win win. |

Dreger saying Hall and Boston are close to an agreement. 4 years at $6M/year. I would've signed Hall to that contract. Good deal and fit for both sides. |

He wasn't signing that deal anywhere other than Boston. Who had the first pick in the Taylor vs Tyler again? Was it Edmonton? |
