Obviously the guys there in person aren't getting traded, they are looking for living quarters. Every player knows if they've been traded or not. My guess is the ones who are getting traded had their names pulled from the arses of the octopus and fish. (Cholowski and McCant)

I thought the exact same thing. Eberle is going to be relied on quite a bit offensively. The Krak emphasized defense in the draft. Where are the goals coming from for starters?

How about when Player A was traded for Player B and Team A retained money on Player A while buying out Player B then re-signing him to $1M then trading him to team C and retaining 50%? Not to mention Team C buys him out while simultaneously trading him and retaining 50%! Did the NHL rules matter then?

Most players signed by AZ have to be overpayments so they stay, but I think he'd be a suitable replacement for McCann and making probably around what McCann would make on his new contract.
