A splash it would definitely make. An overpayment, it would definitely be as well. I don't see anyone going too much over $8m. If even that much. He's an asset to whichever team signs him but he's a UFA at the wrong time money-wise. |

Nice read.. I remember going to the Frozen Four his freshman year and he and Brock were in it. I was excited to see them both play. I think Brock got hurt on his first shift and ND lost to Minn-Duluth, and Lee got banged up and hardly played.

I like Risto more than most...in the right system, I think he could be a really solid, punishing d-man and look a lot better than he looked in Buffalo. Like, if Mayfield was in Buffalo, I'm sure he'd get walked by a lot of the faster forwards because he wouldn't have anywhere near the support he gets on the Isles.
But, that said, Buffalo pretty much just pulled Philly's pants down on this trade! |

Oh I’m sure he’ll be excellent in Philly. He’s better than his time in Buffalo suggests.
