Tarasenko career is over. Any gm that trades for him should be fired immediately. 4 shoulder surgeries. He is finished

Yeah? What did the MRI show you?

Whatever if you can improve on Bailey you do it and never look back. I doubt it happens but I’m totally on board with it.

Somebody he knows had shoulder surgery and they’ll never be the same so that applies to tarasenko.

He should retire at this point.

Aren't you going to feel silly if he hangs 40 goals this year for someone.

I would be shocked if he played 5 games this season

I'm worried it will be Philly. If we don't get him, I'd really prefer he stay the hell out of the east.

So in theory:
Pelech 5 years $5m
Beau 4 years $4m
Cizikas 4 years $3m
Sorokin around $3m

That leaves about $8.5m for Palmieri, Parise and a dman.
Perhaps we can unload Leo's salary somehow, but I have my doubts Lou even wants to do that. So much still to figure out

Still wiuld love to see us get Taresenko, but I don't see how we can fit him unless we let Casey or Palmieri go

plus $6M in LTIR cushion for Boychuk

There has been a lot of smoke suggesting that very thing.

Don’t be too hard on him. It must be an incredible strain to be in a constant state of shock.

So what if all these "leaked" names are just a rouse and those reporting are only throwing names out there. Is there any way the league got with Seravalli, LeBrun, etc and asked them to throw out names to protect the actual list? I know that idea is waaaaaaaaay out there, but how could the league, or the Kraken, not keep the picks hush-hush especially with the "big reveal" tonight?

Because the Kraken and the league aren't the only ones that know who was selected. Every team knows who got picked. Reporters talk to players/agents/front office staff/god knows who else....word gets around fast.

If the league or Seattle was that concerned with keeping everything an actual secret then they should have just waited until tonight to require the picks to be formally submitted by Seattle.

Something tells me guys like LeBrun and Seravalli aren't putting their reputations on the line to put up a smoke-screen in order to appease Gary Bettman and the Seattle Kraken.

Yeah, just trying to play conspiracy theorist.
There's no way to keep anything secret in this day & age. Oh, well. The only team I haven't heard about is Detroit. Know who got picked from them?
