Forget Giordano.
Forget Dunn.
Gourde should be the Rangers target from Seattle.
Any chance? |

Maybe just forget Seattle.
They already annoy the eff outta me |

Because I still think he is a good fit and has a ton of PK experience. I would not be upset if they get Dunn but are you dealing Strome for Dunn? - airjan23
No but I’m also definitely not dealing Strome for Gio. |

I agree, counting down until 1pm. Give me Gio, a second PP point option behind Fox would be great. We need to limit Trouba's minutes and get him off the PP. Even if Gio is only hear a couple seasons, sign me up.

the Gio thing is totally dead, they are parading him around town in a Seattle jersey
this only happened because Carp got the name wrong

I doubt they trade any of the guys the introduced last night in person today. That would leave Soucy and Dunn on the left side. To be honest, they drafted a poop roster. My guess is they’re hoping to sign some UFA and get picks/prospects for taking on dead contacts and that’s y they left so much cap space. |

That's exactly what I was thinking last night after looking at the draft list. They are going to have all this room to make a ton of deals for assets. They might not be great right away like Vegas but they are setting up for long term success if the prospects and picks they acquire pan out. |

Final pick of mock draft to be posted later. May wait until after freeze lists, will see |

I don't like your avatar because I keep thinking it's Tony.
What do you think about potentially getting Soucy? |

I think that's what they are looking for, a short term guy on the left side until Robertson/Jones are ready
I don't think Dunn, he's not a short timer (and thus take more to offer in the trade) |

He's also a monster at 6'5". I hope he destroys people. Maybe pair him with Trouba at times. |

I am gonna go out on a limb and say we have traded Strome for Soucy, straight up
that's a 1.75 mil cap savings and then they are moving onto bigger things |

I like Soucy for one or both years.
But damn I wish the Rangers would get their name in the Dvorak sweeps. |

I don't understand.
We all know one of the Rangers biggest needs is a natural scoring Center to play alongside Panarin
Defense seemed to be our strength, yet all the talk is about Giordano, Soucy and Dunn this morning.
Keep DeAngelo. Move Strome and a late round pick for Kuznetsov and the Caps #1 Pick.
