IMO that's fair....but he also doesn't engage with those who try to be civil with him either....so the victim card is valid when you only get in heated exchanges when name calling comes out.

if you want to pick and choose your battles that;s fine, but if you pick them against the extreme counter side then its fair game...otherwise, to your point, don't engage......

Due to the comments on the Aldrich / John Doe(s) case(s) (which are tangentially hockey related) and the various other non-hockey issues on this blog I will continue reading Theo but stop reading any comments. The comments are either too imbecilic, prejudicial, political or are based on rumor or accusations and not based on fact.

I 100% agree it's not an easy question and thats why the whole pitch fork mentality that I see in these mentions on twitter when these updates come out....I just shake my head.

If they settle, and that's a BIG IF, then to your original point something did happen..going to be fascinating to see what comes out of it. Again, huge IF.

99%+ chance it is a share of the proceeds. She is absolutely trying to force a settlement, which she will get if she survives the motions to dismiss. It is unlikely that we will see any testimony.

Nope, just the person who set the policy. Possibly the mental health coach, if accusations are true about him (he has professional responsibilities, in addition).

Says the person who has probably never spent a moment in a bad neighborhood. More importantly hasn’t lived on the west coast. Unless of course someone taking a dump on your doorstep is perfectly fine with you or homeless encamping the beaches.

Allowing bad people to do bad things and not prosecuting them is downright disgraceful and illegal.

And I live in LA,have lived in sh!t neighborhoods in New York and LA, have never been robbed, never had a gun or knife pulled on me, never felt threatened (and I rode the bus for the first 10 years I was in LA and was working in South Central). The homeless situation here is dire, but it is all over the US including in rural America (Google rural homelessness and see, and how it’s also linked to the opioid epidemic in rural America) it’s just not as noticeable there as in big cities due to density and other factors that we could debate till the end of time but this is a hockey blog.

I (and I'm sure he) will always wonder if his career, and level of performance, would have been extended if he'd gone in for the repairs earlier. Feel for the guy.
