I really hope we don't go down this road of speculating who it is...really bad form.

Kim Johnson makes more sense to me as long as we are speculating about something nobody here knows anything about, the same as we do with hockey.

I hope you’re disappointed.

I probably will be because a GM like Yzerman will grab him first and leave the 160 lb NCAA ballerinas for Stanbo to choose from..

You might be on to something (he's swedish so your spelling is wrong). He was gone immediately all of a sudden without any explanation from the team. At the time it was speculated that he had something to do with a teammate's wife, but the public doesn't know for sure. Plus he came with Leddy for Cam Barker. Barker was brutal and had a drinking and/or substance issue according to some area bartenders. Perhaps the issue was caused by the abuse currently being investigated. Barker was highly touted coming out of juniors but I never saw why. No doubt he had pressure on him off the hop but he never delivered performance like he was thought to be capable of. If he was in that situation it would have been a real tough spot to be in. He seems the more likely victim.

No matter who it was it's awful if true. NHL players might be the most down to earth of any league of athletes, but there is a bit of a feeling of invincibility in most of them just because they made the show. There is an extreme amount of ball busting on the ice and in the room, and it can be gruesome. Most of it is funny as all hell, but in a case like this funny has nothing to do with it. The major difference between the players and the higher ups in management is to go alone with invincibility you can add a level of arrogance.

I love a good ball busting, but there are just some things that are out of bounds. I feel real bad for the victims. And I can't even get started about a high school kid.
(frank)ing evil.
