Prediction: i will enter the season full of hope for the Devils. By Thanksgiving, my hopes and dreams will be crushed and I'll gorge myself on Turkey. By Christmas, we're only ahead of the Wings, Sabres, and Kraken and Dougie Hamilton retires from hockey rather than enduring any further pain. I cry and drink myself into a coma. |

Montreal Canadiens
The Canadiens enter the post Shea Weber era, but at least they did address the loss by adding David Savard. The additions of Paquette, Hoffman, and Wideman are useful, but losing Danault will be hard to swallow. Is Price going to be ready by the beginning of the season? Will the coaching staff keep screwing with the younger players. Kotkaniemi, Caufield, madam Romanov are all NHL players. - Eklund
Seriously? I'm pretty sure he'd beat the hell out of you for that. Show some professionalism Ek and turn off (frank)ing autocorrect, you tool. |

Panthers will probably win the east. That first round matchup between the Lightning and Panthers was the real cup final. Lightning limped into the following rounds after that one and were running on fumes by the time they got to the Habs. |

Chabot is on Hedman's level? Sure. OK.
Also, how did the Montreal coaching staff screw around with young players? Because they opted to insert a couple of veterans in a highly emotional environment. Give the kids a moment to settle down, take in the atmosphere, and then insert them? The fact that they ended up benching a veteran like Tatar and turn the reigns over to the kids sure doesn't sound like screwing them over. They took a mediocre line-up to the Finals. I'd say the coaches did great. |

Lol I got a time out for talking about a subject they were talking about on their podcast a couple days ago. If you don't want those subjects in the comments don't talk about them ignorantly on your podcast. Smh. |

Savard doesnt adequately address the loss of Weber. Weber plays 25 TOI and Savard 19. Savard looked good playing 14 min on the 3rd pair.for TB. That’s where he belongs. If Savard is playing on the 2nd pair, the Habs are gonna pay a price with those extended minutes.

Where did these Montreal predictions come from? There is zero chance Montreal finishes ahead of Ottawa, zero. Montreal, Buffalo, Detroit coupled with Detroit are the four worst teams in the league. It's not even close. - CGYFlames13
Wait…. what?

Between Buffalo, Montreal, Detroit and Detroit again for a second time, make the 4 worst teams? |

Zero chance Montreal finishes ahead of Ottawa? There's always a chance. But Montreal is taking a step backwards you would think. As a Flames fan chiming in here with the four worst teams in the league in the Atlantic...I see the Flames team as a bottom 5 team real soon.

Eklund, I’m a Sabres fan and I’m just curious on how you could say sabres have average goaltending? Anderson and Dell are average to you? Lol |

How? I mean the Sabres were last in the league with Eichel, Ristolainen, Reinhart, Ullmark and McCabe on the roster. All we’ve done to replace those players was Hagg, Butcher, Anderson and Dell. All very much worse. So no clue how you can say that.
Detroit got their goalie. Raymond will probably be playing. Full season of Vrana. Not to mention Veleno, Berggren Seider and Zadina. |
