Nice work Bill. Not gonna be a good season for Jones, hopefully Hart bounces back, if he doesn't, please trade him to Detroit!

Jones is back under the goalie coach that had when he broke into the league. Have faith that he can give us around 30-35 solid starts, friend. He's not being asked to be a starter anymore and will hopefully enjoy the change of scenery.

Any thoughts on a starter for the Phantoms, Bill? My understanding is Sandstrom is likely destined to be a "1b" for LHV while Ustimenko and Ersson form a 1A-1B situation in Reading.

Also, does what you think will happen differ from what you think SHOULD happen? Whats your opinion on Sandstrom/Ustimenko/Ersson? Who do you think has the highest ceiling?

I'd probably say Ersson but idk. All 3 goalies seem to be developing well IMO.

I feel like management believes that several of their acquisitions, mainly Risto and Jones, will benefit from a better team and a better overall defense. The logic is actually quite on point I believe.

The team is deep and could go far in the playoffs. Sadly, the team lacks that elite superstart that isn't required to win a SC but makes it tough.

The defense core should be better, the pk should be better, the goaltending should be better with Hart having a bounce back year.

I don't see there being enough guys who can consistently put the puck in the net to make this team a legit contender.

Ryan Reaves a Ranger.

This should be interesting.

Stupid. They think he is some kind of answer for Tom Wilson. Difference being is Wilson can actually play hockey quite well.

Reeves won’t play more than 15-20 games. A 3rd is bit too much to give up but it’s not like Drury was breaking up a dynasty of the past 3 years. Team needed some balance

Scoring has really not been an issue on this team, do I expect them to be top 5 in the league, no. I expect them to be in the upper half though.

flyers were right in the middle with goals scored last season. And that was with the whole team having a bad year. TK should be better, Cam can bury the puck, better team D, means more offensive time. I don't think goal scoring should be an issue.

It’s just a nothing move, “we got tougher” good for you. He can’t play and when the games matter his minutes are reflected of that

I don't think goal scoring is an issue either. The Flyers potentially have 4 players who have the capability to score 30 goals in a season. They have overall 7 forwards with the ability to score 20 or more goals. They also have a couple more that can score in the teens. Not to mention that they added more offensive fire power defensively in adding Ellis, Ristolainen and Yandle.

Drury committed a colossal blunder in trading Buchnevich. I hope he does more moves like that.

It was fine trading buch. The return was awful tho. The other players he has brought nemeth, Goodrow improve the team. Getting rid of Howden as welll. Rangers will have a better record next year. They still have moves to come

When he runs Provy through the end boards it won’t look so stupid…he plays a heavy, heavy game….6-7 minutes a night. No one will run their star players or they’ll answer. Wilson would not of ragdolled their best player had he been in the lineup.

It was fine? Based on what? He's ready to explode! Swapping out Buchnevich for Goodrow, who is a solid 3rd line player is not an improvement.

Having Ryan Reaves in the lineup is not going to stop Tom Wilson from doing anything.

Their had to be some response to prevent something like that from happening again, Reeves will at least dress everytime they play the bullying Caps. Also Brendan Smith signed with Carolina yesterday - he was their only response last time.

If the Rangers or any other team changes their lineup just to play a player against Tom Wilson then the Caps have already won that situation.

Yeah, he will drill a Flyers player leading to an injury. You can take that to the bank.

They weren’t running buch kappo and Kravs in the top 9. They don’t all fit. Buch was the odd man out after Kreider got his extension. The return was bad, the idea to trade him was not. I would’ve moved him at the deadline this year

Yes, Reaves will be the less than skilled NYR Matt Cooke type thug to go along with Wilson from the Caps in the division.

No doubt he head hunts smaller & skilled players from behind on all the teams.

Frack him and I wish him nothing but the worst...
