Don't get this infatuation with Saad. He got 15 goals shooting unsustainable 22%. If you bring it down to his career average, you get 11 goals and 9 assists in 44 games. He is a 35-40 point player at this point in his career.
He is a complementary piece, nothing more. Does not drive the play and does not make his teammates better. Saying this as a Hawks fan. |

Even though the cost was too high to keep Saad, it’s still a big loss. Saad provides high end secondary scoring that the team needs in the playoffs. Now they have to try to get that at the deadline.
