If they sign all these people they are rumored to be signing, there will have to be some trades. A forward will have to be included for Tarasenko. Also maybe a forward goes for a Dman. They will have 16 forwards if they sign CC , Parise, Beau, Zajac, and Palmeri and then trade for Taranseko. Too many players never mind lack of Cap space.

Yikes, that is some long term... Love Casey at 29 but the way he plays at 33 ohhh. He will outlast Lou as a Islander with a deal that is this long.

It's the only way he's sticking around and taking a "decrease" in cap hit, assuming it's true. If he's signing a 3-4 year deal he's going have a higher AAV than over a longer term.

Still very surprising Lou did not clean house with Bridge when he took over. Bridge has been an issue for the longest time.
