Good low cost signing. Yes, he can play the power play but it just says you don’t have enough skilled players. The Wild had him on the power play mostly because he was the best face off guy on a bad face off team.

Both of you are correct...it probably was the worst trade that Doug has made and while I like the signing to have a good 3rd line Center who can win face-offs, the other signings of Nieto and Cogliano are more the indication that the talent is not available in the pipeline yet to take those spots.At least by the estimation of Boughner and then Doug...
