A great C is Bergeron. Does it all.
- Nighthawk

Exactly. Does Bergeron ask his wingers to take his face offs? Nope...

Petey was taking more face offs nuckup says. Weird... a great center goes how many seasons before he's comfortable taking own face offs? 3? 4?

Good player but far from an elite C.

All the great centres play the wing and take only the neutral zone faceoffs.

Lol you thought Beagle was a tangent but not Mr. Selke Bergeron?

Of the 32 NHL teams in the NHL most would have Petey as their 1LC. He's top 10 in the NHL by many experts. But hey you want him to be a face-off specialist to be elite.

Keep telling me what I think to strengthen your argument. Keep telling me what NHL players want to strengthen your argument. You must be The Amazing Kreskin to know what everyone thinks without them telling you.

Since when is not needing line mates to take face offs for you a "face-off specialist"? The league must have hundreds of face-off specialists then.

My last word on Petey…

I don’t consider him elite yet. He can get much better & has it in him to do it. He is still very good & young with much more to give.

Pass the hot wings pls

$100k for a chef at Earls? Really. Looked it up and this sites states “The typical Earls Kitchen + Bar Head Chef salary is $66,459 per year. Head Chef salaries at Earls Kitchen + Bar can range from $46,521 - $70,017 per year. This estimate is based upon 7 Earls Kitchen + Bar Head Chef salary report(s) provided by employees or estimated based upon statistical methods. When factoring in bonuses and additional compensation, a Head Chef at Earls Kitchen + Bar can e

Expect to make an average total pay of $67,954 per year.”

$364k for a doctor is outrageous (in Canada). The highest paid surgeon in Fraser Health makes $281,434. All FHA salaries are posted here:

When I was young my friends parents who were doctors were capped at $325K, they were all capped. Chief of staff took home and extra 50K. I find it quite absurd that the highest paid surgeon at FH makes less than that.

I'm not disputing it, just saying ER doctors in Ontario were making more than that 30 years ago.

Plus honestly, why would a professional athlete pay a doctor to be at his beck and call when

a) the team has doctors of their own, and access to top specialists around the country and

b) how would you know which kind of doctor you are going to need. A GP isn’t going to get the job done 99.9% of the time.

I could see a wealthy athlete hiring a chef or nutritionist, but that person (I don’t think) would be allowed on the team flights/bus etc.

So , on the radio they say Klimovich can play in 4 different leagues, so quite a few options.

I’m just pointing out that people always believe professionals like doctors and lawyers make soooo much money but if you are being paid by the tax payer you’re not making as much as some think. All salaries across Canada are posted for anyone to see if you are a public servant.

Making six figures in Canada is hard to do strictly from a paycheque. Average Canadian household income is $87,000. That’s typically with two income earners. Scary.

Im that way. Jalapenos don't feel that hot when I eat them but they give me terrible cramps and napalm ass later. Yet a habanero which burns my mouth way more that a jalapeno passes much less painful for some reason.

Me too. They go in green, give major pain to the ovaries, and burn their way out ripe red.

I agree, good player, soon to be great player I hope, but not in the elite center type mold the I like to see. Too small, not heavy enough, falls down too much. I prefer a Barkov, Kopitar, type of L1C

I worked at Earl's as a line cook started at the bottom at $6 and finished as the head broiler cook at $8.25...

I was making $12 per hour working at an architectural firm in 2000. Your $8.25 per hour as a cook (1992) is not surprising and I doubt that same position now makes $50 an hour ($100,000 per year).

If it does then I’m training to be a broiler cook.

Things are different now. Fast food businesses are having to pay signing bonuses to get kids to work…
