We will get some information but probably from the Eichel camp, and not the full side of things.

Stuff will get leaked but not all of it.

- Stripes77

sabres have been quiet on this all along

perhaps the eichel camp should have done the same

im not sure ive ever heard an original thought or nuanced opinion from Hammy, just generic cliches about 80's hockey. Poor guy. I think he is also the reason the App stores are all banning Sugar Daddy apps

He creeps me out when he openly flirts with women on twitter

I know his wife passed away 10 years ago, but come on now

This would have been done by now had Eichel not acted like an infant at his end of season presser, and just kept it quiet.

Teams would have paid what Adams wanted

But that hurts the team jack will end up going to.

He's done a great job for himself. Took a page outta ROR's book.

I thought the cba says that he can't just go and have a procedure without the team's approval. However, arbitration is available if they can't agree. Is he afraid of losing? If they wanted more rehab he would still be getting paid.
- Slump Buster

I thought the cba put medical decisions in the hands of the team doctors.

Eichel is a problem.

He is trying to force his way out of buffalo by all means possible. There's definitely a chance he "fakes" the severity of the injury at the same time he's skating.
And the same time he's acting like it's fine.

Think of eichel as a 12 year old boy, wanting his way.

Kagm is drawing the line. Period.

Sit your whining a$$ down b!tch.

Play here or nowhere.

Pushing the assets from this trade past tank4 or trading for an Injured tuch are the best plays available.

Unless kagm gets a byfield, laferierre or dach type player back.

I'm starting to think that GMKA simply called Eichel's bluff and since it's a tank year anyway it's actually worked in his favor. He can sit on his hands all season.

Starting to think that? That's interesting. .....

Where would you come up with that idea?

The Olympics as a whole is having ratings issues, and there are a number of reasons why that range from economics, politics, and culture.

The problem with the Premier League is that its more like a popular TV show in the US than a sport. It's still relatively new to US viewers. It's not engrained into US culture like college football is, be it Notre Dame, the SEC, Big Ten, etc. depending on where in the US it is. It also hurts that it's always played "over there" with the exception of a few showcase games. College football has generations of fans. People and families have traditions centered around either going to games as far back as their great grandparents. The Premier League can't get to that point, at least not in our lifetimes. If you make it hard to watch, people will just find something else.

- buffalofan19

To me this is incorrect.

Bars were packed here when they first started airing Premier league and people were decked out in team colors.

Its huge in Atlanta when it as there as well.
Atlanta United games are always sold out.

The US has a massive soccer following.

He may be here quite a while because of it, so disagreed there. If he wanted to get out quickly, get the surgery and be ready for the year, he played his cards about as poorly as he could.

I don't think he expected Adams and Co. to stick to their guns.

I believe he tried to get outta here without huting his new team.

The natural talent was always there. I remember watching him live at the UoM against a pretty good and veteran OSU team. He was the best player for the full 20ish minutes he skated and it wasn't close.

I disagree, because he is still here, and now has had to fight his battle in the media because he ran into the one Sabres GM that has told him no since he got here

Has lowered his value substantially. Which I think was his motive from the start.

Has done a great job at it. Lowered his value so much he can't get out

He didn't think Adam and CO. would be sticking to their guns like this and now him and fishman are kicking and screaming cause it probably wasn't the best idea.

I wasn't saying he's done a great job ridding himself from this team. I know he's still here.

The longer this goes on, the more I wonder what is going to happen. Until Jack has surgery (and shows he is healthy) no team will touch him at least not at the price tag Adams is looking for.

The only way this works out for all parties involved is if Jack has the surgery and plays a handful of games and gets moved after the season. But, I am not sure if that is even possible at this point due to the damage being done. It will take one heck of a media tour to smooth this over if Jack were to ever come back and playing for the Sabres.

Both parties are pretty screwed due to Jack's and his agent's antics.
