So just so I understand...THE Tatar signed with Devils. So they are out on Tarasenko. NYR is also out on Tarasenko. I guess he isn't a plan B for Eichjel anymore. This leaves the Devils as the only team left for Tarasenko. But somehow Lou is involved, perhaps in a 3-way trade with his former team. Tarasenko and the Tatar might look good on a line together.
Also, if NJ, NYR, and NYI were the 3 teams after Tarasenko, why does Buffalo have 30% odds on your rumour chart and NYR and NYI were always at 0%. - Kooleus
I gotta admit while I think you've more then made your point with Ek, you bring that same high energy intensity everyday and that's impressive. Not easy to do

People call him a troll but it’s mostly brutal truth. Whenever you’re brutal with the truth, you’re gonna get pushback.
Whatever the Rangers were thinking hasn't changed. IDK why they wanted Tarasenko in the first place, but if that was the case I think it still is. IF anything NJ likely dropping out probably lowers the price for either NY team.

nearly 15 million in cap space, and still short 3 legitimate top 6 wingers (2 if you want to bring Holtz up and throw him in the deep end on one of them- not my preference unless he shows it in camp), so not really sure why this would suddenly drop us out of the Tara saga.
I have mixed feelings on if the devils should bring him in and they directly relate to the cost to get him, heck the way we draft Im fine giving a 2nd or 3rd to the blues along with Johnsson, IF healthy this is the exact type of player we want to put on Jack's wing. The problem is the big IF with his shoulder, and STL has to want more then that for him.

Bro if the only thing being offered was cap dump and 3rd round pick and that was the acceptable price... don't you think this deal would be over by now. The common knowledge of tanks price is ridiculous. If it was that low and that was the acceptable price this deal would be freaking over. But it's not its a lot higher. With that said three teams are trying to aquire him.and let's face it if army doesn't get what he wants he has no problem taking his ball and going home. The stl fans don't care if tank comes back either. Heck most of us prefer.it. so.come big or go home.
I don't see how this automatically drops NJ out of the Tara sweepstakes. The Devs still have over $14m in CAP space and any trade would include some assets going back the other way. Additionally, the Devs could still use another scorer up front in addition to a bottom 6 - preferably a 3rd line center if you ask me. I can still see the Devs in on a Tara trade.
The Tara-camp is angry. The devs are Tara-bull. The rangers are Tara-fied that Lou gets sneaky. Eklund is using the buzztron and it’s Tara-bytes to make these predictions. - TurdFergeson
