Tuna signs with the Devils.

4.5M per for 2 seasons.

Very good deal for the Devils imo.

At times, it did feel like he could have slotted in to help us score goals.

He's still our best point producer of the last 3 years ffs.

Then again, we needed Lehkonen to fulfill the prophecy of the coming goals....

yeah, despite the lack of post-season production I did feel he was benched a tad too early as well

yeah, loved it when Tatar was a physical force and generated momentum, even if he wasn't on the scoreboard

I thought we were talking about keeping top 6 wingers out of playoff line ups because they don't produce points

Tuna is rather invisible if he isn't producing, while Anderson can still be very much noticeable and brings an important physical aspect. it isn't rocket science.

When the checking (and hitting) becomes more intense, he just disappears.

Thus playoff hockey is just not his thing.

Yes I notice the attempted knee on knees.

But I think they paid him to produce points.

your laffs fan roots are showing, mr.fan of hockey

love it when you take a jab at guys like Gallagher and Anderson, since you definitely wished there were players like them in TOR (especially now with Hyman gone)

I was never a fan of Hyman. A myth developed around his value that I'll never get.

And no, I don't want more guys who don't score in the playoffs on the Leafs, if I were a Leafs fan and not a fan of hockey
