How is Dunn not an ideal contract If he has all of those qualities?

The kraken have been the biggest disappointment of the off season. The draft was dreadful from an asset acquisition stand point and the signings other then Larson have been pretty bad.

Why would they leave talent on the table that was worth more in trades then what was chosen (philly and chi). Even if the plan was to tank it was a bad move. then Ron flips things around and spends a bunch on good goaltending. If the plan was to be good the draft makes even less sense.

Sad really, always wanted to be a krak head

Ask toronto fans in a few years about walking young talent to free agency

Because in two years he could walk away. Would have liked to have seen the player and team come to an agreement on a longer term deal.

Id be fairly unhappy if I was a Kraker to not get a single ufa year out of Dunn for that price.

Just about everyone is disappointed with how Seattle has gone about things since the expansion draft, so many mistakes cause Francis wouldn’t budge on 1st and 3rd when the going rate for moving contracts were 2nd round picks. Why couldn’t Seattle take Max Domi again? Yeah he is recovering from shoulder surgery just like Yanni, but with an expiring contract and a motivated Domi knowing he has to produce to get paid as a UFA Seattle could have gotten something for him or even sign him long term if there was a fit not take a minor leaguer that wound up signing back again with Columbus.
Francis as a gm is a boring joke and he hasn’t learned a thing from his time in Carolina no wonder Canes fans were laughing when he got hired as gm.

Offer sheet petey at 10 mill. Benning can't match that and it'll only cost a 1st and a 3rd. If he matches he can't sign Quinn hughes and newly acquired Richardinson.

This seems incorrect. According to capfriendly he will still be an RFA once the 2 year deal is up.

Lol. You clearly don’t have a clue how offer sheets work.

Ahhh, well I agree the Pens signed Pettersson and Marino to deals like you want and are now having a hard time trading Pettersson.

I don't know if you can call it a waste. Need to see the results first before jumping to conclusions. Most people forget that Vegas' expansion draft didn't look much better based on the stats leading into the draft.
