I do get it... the stats graph did surprise me though.. speaking from pure Islander's history standpoint.. a LOT of our top prospects didn't "click" until they were 25/26 (Okposo, Bailey, Brock, etc.). Usually they seemed to finally figure it out when we were just about to give up on them.

The Isles didn't exactly have top tier coaching back then.

I would say production may drop off but some players tend to play a bit smarter the older they get which aligns itself pretty well with what trotz is doing. I am absolutely not saying this applies to everyone of course but I think you get what I’m putting down.

They were covered before Lou got here. Not as much. Except it was more for this.

What??? Are you saying you weren't a fan Sterling, Shaw or Gordon? Certainly you had to like Crapuano or Weight, no?

Sadly he's second in games coached and wins for this organization.
Just shows how inept the GM's have been over the last few decades.

I have the same issue. I found that if I go into another thread, click reply on any comment, then come back here, then it works.

Sterling by far had the most impressive turkey gobble I’ve ever seen.

For some reason he always reminded me of The Colonel from "Boogie Nights".

I hate seeing that list of names. Snow did so much damage by refusing to bring in competent coaching. It's also possible that no competent coach would agree to work for him.

I was on the LIRR today and I asked if the station would be ready by the home opener and the information clerk said yes for sure. And I asked the ticket collector said yes also. Its great. It would be one train for me from forest hills to ubs.

Jamaica is more convenient for me but that is a terrible and dangerous area. Forest hills is a very good area and it's about a 15 min ride.

Changing at Jamaica was the best part of going to the Barclays center.

Jamaica seems really out of the way to get to any arena on Long Island. Why would you fly to the Caribbean just to fly back?

It was a bad area back in the late ‘80’s, early ‘90’s. I’m shocked that it hasn’t changed.
