You could accurately fit my football knowledge in a thimble and have room to spare, but it felt like Allen's game by game magic masked the offensive line inefficiencies a fair bit, which may mean Allen will need to focus more on methodically moving the ball down the field with patience as opposes to looking to hold the ball longer to make bigger plays.

Those big plays will come, but he'll need to improve his level of patience before they are more readily available.

It's just another step in his evolution as a quarterback.

Sabres actually did well starting him off on the wing, but am of the opinion he's a center moving forward.

Allen was just off, the Oline didn't help for sure. And Singletary was Avg. 6.5yrds a carry. And stupid penalties hurt

Bill's need to figure out that Gaurd situation and hopefully that was just a bad game cause Dawkins looked bad.

I don't know he missed throws, he had receivers open and missed them or just didn't have the time. There were plays developing but the pocket would collapse. Plus the play calling wasn't very good.

Thought other than a few stupid penalties are D was pretty solid. Hopefully the Dline gets better

Wow looking at that roster there is no doubt Buffalo gets AT LEAST a top 3 pick. If they end up with Shane Wright...would Eichel want to stay? Probably not because he wouldn't be the man no mo.

That roster is tanktastic! Mainly due to the goalie situation and some pieces just a little to high in the lineup, which has been a sabres motto for a decade… but it is what it is…

Stop just Stop! There is no worries about Goaltending

I’d like to see a veteran Center added to handle other teams top lines and just be out there to get caved in on a nightly basis.

We’ll see if that happens though.

Mitts and Cozens as 2C and 3C, eventually Cozens graduates to 2C within the next couple of years, is beneficial for both.

And that was with two rookies starting on pitts o-line. I think they miss star again… they need that big body to eat up two blockers and help the LB and probably the ends get to the qb.
