Actually, they just give you a different title which is essentially a demotion that comes with a decrease from your previous pay rate..just like moving down the depth chart and having your next contract be less than your previous one.

You mentioned Brian Boyle being brought in and then you mentioned him being signed. Last I checked he's on a PTO so any team could steal him at any minute if they desire. Was there a signing this morning that I don't know about because the other major news places have not updated their transactions? So if you said they only have 121 K left they can't afford Brian Boyle without cutting someone

Love St. Vincent, have had a lil crush on her and her dirty guitar style ways for like a decade now, but not usually overly turned on by covers though.

I heard two different Enter Sandman covers, one by Mac DeMarco and the other by Alessia Cera & The Warning both of which totally unnecessary hahah, this week and wondered why. Must of had something to do what you're talking about here.

Yeah, there's a ton of covers which is really cool instead of a typical tribute where only one band gets one song. You get to hear so many takes.

I don't know if it is on the cover album or not, but I heard Miley Cyrus' cover of Nothing Else Matters and really liked it. I did not like the Chris Stapleton version.

Since we are on the subject, name your favorite covers of all time. I can think of a few that I really prefer over the original. Off the top of my head:

1- Sound Of Silence by Disturbed
2- Live And Let Die by G-N-R

Hurt by Cash and Landslide by Smashing Pumpkins are probably my top two. The hipster one that I put up there is Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by STRFKR
