Oh it’s on, Jack! - Canada Cup
I have to decide which goaltender to keep between Campbell or Markstrom in my keeper's league.
It's a league with a salary cap, so I'm tempted in keeping Campbell despite Markstrom being the "safer" bet.

Pretty sure 7 Kampf would win a hockey game against 1 Marner though. - Scabeh
I disagree. 7 Kampf's would lead to a lot of "too many men on the ice" penalties against..

But if we traded Marner for picks and prospects, the picks and prospects would win. |

Thanks for sharing this. I like it as well. - Monkeypunk
I can appreciate the challenges that must come with creating a unique standout mask for the leafs, but I think it's a hit.
Seattle on the other end is a blank slate, and I think it's largely a miss.

That depends.
Who's choosing the picks and prospects?

Markstrom has Sutter for a coach, so analytics be damned, he'll start 65 games. His backup is Vladar who has started 5 games in his NHL career. So you're probably good for about 30-35 wins and maybe 4 shutouts given that Calgary seems cusping on rebuilding/retooling.
Campbell will split time with Mrazek, so you probably get 45 games out of him if things go well, which is probably good for 25-30 wins and maybe 3 shutouts, assuming he comes back down to Earth a bit.
The difference in $4.4m can probably collect more points for you elsewhere. |

Sounds about right.
That 4.4M can really be useful.

You said keeper? My guess is that Leafs only keep one of Mrazak/Jack next year and promote one of the twenty goalies in the system. |

Get'er did. - The Law
Can't read it - it's protected. Would be interested in the text, since data from around the world has been that hospitalizations for kids has been tremendously low, since kids thankfully do not experience heavy symptoms in general after infection.
Are kids in the US and Canada wearing masks to school?

Yeah, exactly.
I perhaps wouldn't call it a big miss as much as I feel he could have done much better with it for reasons you just showed.
Also, the teal on white looks ridiculously sharp if you go heavy on both and don't cloud it with so many background colours. A mega Kraken design with a super sharp teal anchor alone surrounded by white on the other side would have been epic. |

Different from province to province, and I assume state to state as well.
In Alberta it's been left up to the school boards. Public here has kids following mask protocols, catholic said go hard because God will save them from the virus.
I had read at one point Florida was making it illegal for school boards to have a masking policy with the threat of being defunded should they not comply, so there's that. 🤷🏻♂️ |
