Thought they were playing the Sabres tonight, the past few days. Bummer.

Marino's second season was a bust in terms of offensive output, but he was solid defensively. My hope is now that he seems to have settled in that he can comfortably focus on upping his production, but I wonder how playing with Matheson could curtail that and keep him in a more defensive role.

I see P.O.J. has also been relegated to the B squad. Seems to be looking more like a bust these days.

Obviously you're not familiar with the Pens situation on the left side.

i do not want dom simon on this team. it literally is less than one half of one game before sullivan has simon with sid. its infuriating to hear guys like steigerwald say that simon "sees the game like sid". that is the most ridiculous statement. i would rather have had them sign dom kahun than dom simon.

as for PO Joseph, he will never play with dumo, pettersson and matheson in front of him. i am hopeful that hextall can unload pettersson ($4.1) or matheson (4.9). #1 for the cap relief and #2 to get joseph 3rd pairing minutes.

my biggest disappointment is the inability to bring in a goalie. Halak signed for 1.5M, holtby for 2M. but the pens stayed with desmith and jarry? jarry has not had a great camp either so...

You have to watch the Bo Burnham one. He's telling a story about this european comic who talks using a black sock. Marc Maron says, "I already don't like him" and Burnham responds, "Ok, we'll make it a white sock." LOL

His value is to take Zohorna under his wing, but Simon probably won't clear waivers without being claimed. Kinda weird.

We brought in Domingue and Lindberg. You simply aren't getting anybody good enough to replace Jarry at those prices.

Nah not yet, I've got like 423432 rubs in my drawer and another 32431 sauces I gotta get through still. Been busy cookin up fresh seafood I've been catching in the gulf. Grouper, Snapper, Porgy, Hogfish, etc.

I was really hoping Joseph could crack the lineup but I guess he'll have to wait. As for Légaré and Poulin, they'll have their growing pains.
