I'm not sure I can agree with this list. It's mostly unnecessary drama. Eklund does not need to be lights out amazing. He needs to grow and develop while in the NHL. Consistentcy in pace, compete and positioning is all he needs to do.
Tarasenko does not need to produce for the Blues to make the play offs. He needs to produce enough, that teams wont ask for salary back when he gets traded and get some value for a good player who has been recovering from shoulder surgeries. I mean he's on the third line.
Last season was not normal in anyway. Hats off to the guys who did a great job of it.
Goalies had inflated stats and stats were misleading depending upon the teams one competed against. Like for years, Arizona, no matter how bad, had the Blues' number. Some players score a ton against one team and not as much against others. If you are that player your numbers looked better than usual. Some players with families far away struggled to get through the season. Team bonding was difficult. It's an outlier season.
