Anyone else curious to see what DOC might be able to do next to Geno?

Reading your posts is truly painful on the eyes. Are you familiar with punctuation at all?

To be fair, the entire article was a giant middle finger to Toronto so he used up all his energy in that effort.

I like the idea of DOC Malkin Kap. He brings a straight line style and has the skill to keep up.

Try braille you idiot. When you talk I am sure you say Who is that and then say question mark. And when you talk you say period when you end a sentence. If that is so then you are truly a moron/.,? This is an informal board mr perfect and I will continue to antagonize you in every way I can/.../.,,.,.,?

Ha ha....

That's the way I read it. Repeated kicks to the nards of the Leafs and their fans.

I'll just be glad if he stays in the lineup for now. Don't want Sully sitting him because of some dumb hierarchy mindset for vets.

Unfortunately that's how it works and while I'm not the biggest fan of ERod, based on what he's doing right now it's going to be hard for Sully to sit him instead of the others. I think DOC and Simon should remain in the lineup.

Simon is back to his old tricks. He picked the pocket of some leafs player in the neutral zone and fed a perfect pass to Boyle on his goal. He has looked great.

It's gonna be a minute before Sully has to make the tough sit/play decisions, but ZAR is no longer a set in stone starter IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised to see ZAR get moved this year. He can probably get a 4th or 3rd.

Simon has been awesome.

If he's still playing near this level sure. A long time to get there.

Right now it's a competition between DOC, ERod, Heinen, Simon, and Boyle for the 3 spots on the 4th line while Malkin is out and the others return.

DOC and Simon have a combined cap hit that is less than ZAR. I think if it comes down to losing a player like Simon off of waivers or moving ZAR for a pick, the choice is easy.

ZAR has never really impressed me. I get his fancy stats and why he is appealable... but if you can get a decent pick for him... pull the trigger. Teams shouldnt be overspending on 4th line caliber players.

I get how people could want this. But, last year it wasn't just fancy stars. 9 goals was pretty impressive for a guy who was usually tasked with D first. And, he's the biggest hitter on the team now. I don't want to lose him at all.

That's a ways off. I'll settle for him still being with the big club by then.

I think you're mistaking thinking permanent and just curiosity. Also, I don't think Heinen has any competition.

When completely healthy there's only one spot available. Everyone you mentioned aside from Heinen will be vying for that one spot. That said, this is all assuming the Pens will have a 100% healthy lineup at some point and that's probably a lofty expectation.
