lol Coyotes were out before the season started, the way their roster is built it's sort of implied they are rebuilding. Everything is on sale and must go , aside from Keller and Chychrun.

Why would the senators or Coyotes be desperate? Both have publicly acknowledged rebuilds that they are in and neither give a poop about their record this year. Islanders, Canucks, Habs, Stars are all teams that are vastly underperforming the expectations and all should be concerned.

The Islanders are the first team that comes to mind. Only 31 goals to this point, should be alarming to Lamiorello. One team not mentioned that is trending in a less than good direction, is the Flyers. They are going to wear Hart down, and need to make a move to upgrade their offense, just like the Islanders do. They also desperately need Ellis back.

It’s ironic that the better Tarasenko plays, the more desperate your shill to move him grows.

Pittsburgh will be super desperate. The closing window factor. The expectations sub-factor. The players leaving in free agency (ie E4 that Malkin goes to the Caps). Current season is going good factor. Injuries have played a factor but they are getting healthy so normally that's a negative factor, but the combo of getting healthy AND adding via trade is like a double booster.

All that said, big desperation score. We know they are asking about Gallagher. But everyone needs centers so Marcus Johansson is a sneaky target.
