People made fun of him when he pushed his way out of Buffalo because everyone thought he was an AHLer that couldn’t even crack Buff and should just be happy to be there. Guy bet on himself and probably earned himself a pretty decent contract from someone this off-season.

Yah, I'm pretty happy for him. Definitely pricing himself out of our range. Although it's only a fourth of the way into the season.

I think Carter brings plenty. But his age should limit him to 3rd line minutes. Sid and geno will also need a more even spread across all 4 lines to stay fresh come playoff time. Let the Erods be out there hustling their asses off.

Carter's playing tough minutes also. Only the pure defensive line has more defensive zone starts than Carter, percentage wise. That needs to be addressed, one way or another.
