Hayes & Ellis being re-injured in their first game back is an awful look, and certainly not bad luck or coincidence. Just ridiculous.

Bill, a prospect question. I’m wondering if the Flyers would have any interest in signing Ivan Lodnia who is now a FA. He had really consistent numbers in the OHL. Fletcher must have liked him at some point since he originally drafted him. Seems trike the Phantoms could use a player with offensive potential. |

Hextall had draft picks that were all terrific and he won us a cup in one posters mind here. HEX WILL BE IN THE GM HALL OF FAME FOR THE TEAM HE BUILT HERE.
Please don't beat that poor phucking dead horse anymore.
Everything CF has done is now both good and bad since we really can't know how it will play out, but let's just agree he sucks and he is great while sucking. |

The organization is in shambles -- all aspects of it medical, management, development, I can not think of one thing that they are doing well in/at |

If the Flyers do not take advantage of a tired Tampa team it shows one of two things, or possibly both
They are not a good team
The three in four narrative excusing their own poor performances should be put to bed - corduroy
Excellent point!!
Hoping we don't go out and get shelled

Could be a bad sign as an organization that a Muppet is the best thing they have done.

The sky is falling!!!!
Come on, now. The Flyers are certainly a better team than they were last year.
Flyers fans have to be some of the most fair-weather fans in the league.
They'll be fine.
AV is a good coach, and CF is doing a pretty good job at GM.
Injuries and a couple of guys need to get it going. It's still early, people.
Save the doom and gloom. |

I agree, our guys can play better than they have been, and we are playing with key injuries. When we get healthy and playing on all cylinders, then i will judge according.
Having said that, why cant our guys play to the level they are capable of 80% of the time, not 40% or 50% of the time. This has been an issue for years.

Cap Freindly says they have 48/50 contracts. They just lost NAK as you know.
Thanks anyway Bill. |

Have you watched them play?
Perhaps not.
Barring some solid goaltending, which we know can change on a dime.
We are a team that stinks in just about all special teams categories and just barely above the Mendoza line in others.
We still have plenty of runway to have a worse year, unfortunately.

Well there you go. I'm just looking for the Flyers to be better this season than that catastrophe of season last year. That's all I need. I'm on hold to purchase season tickets as we speak. |
