I would not be surprised to see Gorton add an experienced assistant coach to DD's squad, to get some fresh eyes on the team from that level - coaching, strategy, feel for the room, players, etc.

TBH i didn’t cover that because I don’t know where it’s going but my thoughts were: With the massive faux pas that was the Mailloux drafting, they will follow the Kraken and Leafs’ lead and start hiring women in hockey ops, Granato and Wickenhaiser got jobs, perhaps they give one to Sauvageau or Ouellet, i’m not talking about the GM’s job but maybe scouting... I can tell you what’s not happening though, they are not naming a newly retired PK Subban as the new GM this summer, that much I know lol
