As always, thanks for the blog Trevor!
Any thoughts on when Ruzicka gets to see some playing time?

Seems like it will be with injury. Not a huge fan of calling up a player and having them eat popcorn for a couple weeks. Hard to justify taking someone out when the team is succeeding though. |

Thanks Trevor!
I am guessing making Ruzicka earn his spot on the roster by practicing hard is one od Darryl's tricks.
Hope he can take the next step. |

Likewise. He looked so good late last season. If he can get back to that then it will be hard to take him back out of the lineup. |

"Wounds heal, chicks dig scars, glory last forever.".
Jarry is playing top level, but he's not the league hottest goalie.
Your stats show that. Look to the right.
As for time off, the Flames are 9-1-3 with a single day off between games.
With 2 or more days off, they are 2-1-1.
In B2B games, they are 4-1-1.
This is a different team from last year and the Ward/BP years. |

The stats cover all year. When the article was written, Jarry had allowed four goals in his last six games. Markstrom 12 in his last six. Let alone the competency of the defences in front of them. Jarry is the hotter goalie statistically by a lot.

I was so scared in OT because we tend to suck in OT so far this year. Glad we got the win in SO, it will help the confidence in extra time |

Flames need to do some shoot out practice. They won but all of Jarry’s saves were relatively easy (in shootout. Made some big stops in game). Just muffin shots into his pads. Markstrom actually had to make some saves.
They also love to hit posts and cross bars.
Need E Kane for some grit. |

Oh, I get that. Just saying. He's definitely taken over for MAF and MM. Actually, Marky let in 10 over the last 6, but your point is still valid. |

I would love to see Kylington skate up to the circle and blast a slapper. Think he was looking 5 hole, but he didn't get away a tricky shot. Flames have never been known for being good at shootouts. Only Backlund and Gaudreau were able to pick the top corner. One post I think. Monahan and other's were weak shot attempts. You haven't beat the goalie in regulation that way, yet you aim for the space between the glove and the pads.

Any interest in Debrusk? - DuranDuran
Three way.
Boston gets Boeser, Van gets Mony, Calgary gets Debrusk( and maybe a low pick ) |

ZERO I hope... we have Ruzicka and Duerr waiting in the wings. Debrusk would not represent an upgrade in any way! |

Beuno Tardis Muchachos,
Thanks Trevor your consistency is much appreciated. Been off the grid for a while, just landed in Loreto. Wifi again. Missed the last 2 games, how’d we look against the Jets?
@ Durran
I’d have interest in DeBrusk, think he’d fit right into Sutters system. Not sure what it would take but we’d have to move salary out in order to bring him in.
Lucic is flourishing under Sutter, I could see him being named captain. Stupid Holland letting him go for Real Deal (Dud) Neal. Plus he’s paying part of his salary.
