As a fan of the Wings I like the hire of course.... Lidstrom is perhaps the most patient hockey player I've ever seen, maybe Larionov could make an argument.... regardless Stevie has taken the Holland mess and one step at a time overhauled this organization..... as a fan my confidence in him is solid and indeed Nick Lidstrom will only help patience remain as the foundation of the rebuild... maybe Fedorov is next, I can't imagine Blashill here for another season, and while I do question him still coaching the team. I trust the plan Yzerman most certainly has and its time table..
