Does anyone have a list of the guys who’be already had covid and are therefore in the clear for a bit? Seems like must be more than half of them by now

Devils are adding Kyle Shapiro, likely in emergency role, for tonight to back up Jon Gillies.

I mean, I don't want Gillies to get hurt but if this emergency goalie got it that'll probably be the most entertaining thing about this game.

Devils pick in the first round, from Northeastern - Center - Jack Hughes.

Zacha, Sharangovich, Johnsson, and Bastian were activated from covid protocols and are available tonight. Bratt remains in protocol.

it really doesn't matter. you can continue to test positive for months after having Covid, vaccinated or not of course. The rest of my comments i'll keep to myself. Go Devils.

But it does matter in this case, because once you come back then you dont get tested again for 3 months/90 days

i feel like Hughes just like.. passed through players while maintaining possession. guy is so elusive and has that puck on a string.

With Severson and Hamilton out of the lineup hard to get offensive production from the back end. Really evident with the lack of sustained pressure this game.

.. that.. makes no sense lolol. Whatever man. Even if you got Covid, you could have it again, you could be a-symptomatic, you could have a sniffle and be positive, etc etc etc*. That's what the CDC says!.. and the CDC is treated like Bible, so..

Virtually every player vaccinated or not will catch Covid/Omicron and virtually every player vaccinated or not will continue with their hockey careers. This Omicron is super contagious, but it's not landing healthy people under 70 on their death beds, vaccinated or not.

I mean we should just let all the players get Covid at the same time so we can postpone 1 week's worth of games and then everyone be fine for 3 months, right? no, because that's stupid. but that's the logic here.

He's really made a pretty big difference on the PP too. Without Wood we literally had nobody who could be an effective net-front guy, and he wins some board battles down low to help us get possession and set up as well.

I don't remember how much money it was to join the league, but you spend that and the money to get an arena built. So your expansion draft strategy is that you are not going to take any skill players and then demand 1st round picks only to take on bad contracts. Then every other team takes 2nd round picks instead and then you're left with nothing. Could've had a really solid team in a soft division, really just embarrassing.

him, Voracek, Domi, Drouin (I think) among other. They just didn't want to take on cap for some reason. Think about how Flyers wanted to dump Gostisbehere, Seattle could have done the same trade but instead demanded to get 1st round picks for some reason. 2nd round picks are still really good especially for a team that literally has no players lol.
