Matt Ross: Florida and Dallas At It Again

I'll tell you what- Lundell should be way up in the Calder race, according to his overall body of work. What this kid is doing as a 19/20yr old is simply amazing, especially on the defensive side of the game. I'm now seeing him "settle in" more, and he just seems to get better and better every game. If you watch that play, he sees Mamin coming a full 2 seconds before the play actually happens. Just fantastic. I have to do a double take many times a game because he acts and skates like Barkov (and the numbers are similar- especially if partially turned away). The future looks blindingly bright.

Lundell was such a steal!
Plays like an experienced veteran defensively. Seems like he has the “vision” to always be in the right place.

Seems like this has been a ton of whistles so far

Cats play basically with 5 defenseman. If Zito doesn’t do something and acquire a big time defenseman he needs to at least find a serviceable #6 dman.

Marchment ready to come back, too, thought he was gonna play tonight. Frankie might get the night off tomorrow. Don’t think Brunette will mess with line 4 right now, so Marchment probably gonna go in Frankie’s spot on 3.

Gotta a good team there fellas. Guys are rolling. And Lundell man what a steal, really liked him coming out his draft year. And Duclair what a nice little reclamation project he turned into.
