The Caps are swirling the bowl of mediocrity. I don't see them going deep in the playoffs if they even manage to get in.

I agree. I'd hate to see them trade away more draft picks for a rental just to get bounced in the first round again. The Metro is super competitive this year. However, there is still plenty of time to steer the ship straight! I am happy they are going through adversity now vs at the back end of the regular season.

I think Mac will be making some sort of a deal. Perhaps just to shake things up a bit but I agree with you, I do not want to sacrifice the future and in return get an early exit in the playoffs. This team has flashes of brilliance and at times play like they are unbeatable.

The problem is that it does not last for more than a period at most.
