And Danault gets a 5k fine for the trip on Pointe which looked incidental although that's solely from memory and not re-watching the video. The league is whacko.

The fine for Danault was warranted. You watch the replay from the camera angle that was far away, and you could plainly see even from that distance. Danault was avoiding another TB player, but as he skated by Point he extended his right leg far enough to where he slew footed both of Point's legs. When it was live it just looked like Danault bumped into him from the normal side camera. That's why I was really surprised how Point reacted right after that. Now I understand. Glad it was just a fine though, as I don't think it was bad enough for any suspension. Of course, who knows how the DoPS determine these things...they're so inconsistent this year.

I see it now. Danault would argue he was bumped...but...that looks like a slew foot.
