What are the holes in this lineup? What do we do for the trade deadline?

Defense has been good. Goalie has been great. Forwards have been great (and should be even better now that everyone is healthy). Backup goal is legit the only concern.

Wingers that are good/smart enough to play with Malkin. That 2nd line is dogpoop.

it'd be great to get a bigger physical guy that can play (Crouse) although having Boyle makes me feel a bit better come playoff time

I have a lot more faith in Zucker right now than I do Kap. Zucker has at least been playing good hockey and now looks to be willing to get in the dirty areas in the crease which is something the Pens have been lacking for some time. If he can find more success doing that then it's great for the Pens, but Kap just looks like a lost puppy 90% of the time.

I think what people really wanted, although I agree with you, was more of young Tony and Richardie together. I enjoyed it, too and I think there will be one more movie. I watched an interview with David Chase and he said he's very open to another movie as long as the script is right.
- Rinosaur

Yeah I guess, but even looking back at the show, I don't really think Tony and Richardie spent THAT much time together. He was just more... fatherly than Johnny Boy. I would think that his time with Richardie would be talked about with Dr. Melfi but I don't remember a ton of stories about experiences with the two together.

Not going to lie though, Uncle Junior calling the shots there at the end surprised me a bit.

Personally I was hoping for more Tony/Johnny interaction because that was always the discussion between Tony and Dr. Melfi. Side note, Lidia didn't seem nearly as wretched back in the day as she did in the Sopranos lol

LOL seriously? I thought Lidia was a loony in the movie. That scene in the kitchen was super nuts to me lol.

What I did love is how they brought flashback scenes from the show as main scenes in the movie like when Junior talks about him not being an athlete.

I mean, was she a looney? Yeah but her husband was a piece of poop lol I feel like her craziness was more caused by Johnny. dude get's out of prison and when she cooks him his favorite meal he said all he wanted to do was "play with his gumar" hahahaha

That and when Johnny shot his gun in the car, I was dying with look haha.

Well his mom in the movie was IMO equally as emotionally manipulative to him, so maybe loony isn't the word, but she (frank)ed with his head bad.

I think the other reason they didn't have a lot of interaction with his dad is because that was part of his issue. He really didn't have a father figure and always felt like his dad didn't approve of him, choosing Janice over him and being mainly subjected to his mom. Richardie was the only man in his life show him any attention, so that's probably why he emulated him.

but he wont put up with anyone's poop. agreed he isn't an enforcer nor does he throw hard checks or many checks for that matter, but he will stand up for guys and is big enough to throw down with Wilson if need be.

Per Mike Sullivan, Louis Domingue is being evaluated for an undisclosed injury after he was hobbled by shot during the morning skate.

Domingue is scheduled to serve as the backup pending the evaulation.

Oh yeah, for sure. I definitely agree with that. I definitely want to see the emergence of Tony though, like when Tony and Jacky stick up Feech's card game lol I was waiting for that.

Fingers crossed. What I read was he has an idea for the movie, but doesn't think it's necessarily what HBO would want, so who knows. My guess is he doesn't want to make a fan service follow-up like HBO would want.

I wish it would run as like an 8 episode mini series. That would be awesome. IMO, that's all the movie was, fan service... but that's exactly what I wanted haha.

do you see them trading away a player like ZAR or Zucker? Is there a market for either?

I can't see them moving ZAR unless maybe it's part of a bigger deal, but I don't see any big deals happening. If they move Zucker I don't think it will happen until the off-season. I think there's a limited market for Zucker.

I'm not sure that anyone is going to take Zucker because of his injuries and contract, but ZAR is a cheap physical PK presence playoff teams would like. If you can move him and bring in another winger that might be ideal. Namestnikov in Detroit would be a great addition on Malkin's wing.

I don't think DET will swap UFAs. Maybe ZAR could be included in a deal for an upgrade at backup?

Oh, I wasn't proposing a swap of the two. Just highlighting Namestnikov as a player I'd like to target. Detroit would be looking for futures anyway.

If Halak comes available, a ZAR/DeSmith package sounds good off the top of my head. VAN is still in the hunt, so I don't know if they could use a guy like ZAR.
