Its funny, Schneider comes up and plays so well that we now notice how poorly Miller has been playing in comparison...

Biggest disappointment for me with Miller is he doesn’t use his size. He’s 6’4 215, at some point you have to start throwing the body around. I hope we win 6-5 but I hope TonyD scores all 5 for the Canes.

Miller definitely needs to learn how to play meaner.

But, he’s still scratching the surface.

I’m not saying K’Andre should be untouchable, but I think he’s gonna be really really good when he’s 25 years old. Trading him now could be like the Islanders when they traded Chara back in the day.

Miller’s birthday today. 22. Still a baby.

Agreed he is definitely not a physical player and he has had some miscues but that could be attributed to the sophomore jinx.

From the guy who shoots down every theory backed up with actual stats, I didn’t expect to see the old “sophomore jinx” as a line of reasoning.

I think the biggest thing is the coaching staff and organization seems really high on Miller. Don't think they are looking to move him

one thing he's got going for him that nobody else has is size

that's why Jones and Lundkvist may be redundant

Yep and I don't think its coincidence that Trouba is playing his best hockey as a Ranger paired with him. Can't fake chemistry

You should read the comments for the ADA piece Brooks put out yesterday. Talk about a (frank)ing cess pool.

I read them

sounds like Tony D stopped tweeting and is only concentrating on hockey

which is all anyone ever wanted

I knew he'd play great if he just worried about hockey

100%

Everyone seems to forget that if last season didn't shake out the way it did that this team might not be in the same position they are in now. It's outrageous how some "fans" are still stuck on the BS that went down last season.

This team is entering a game where they can cement their first place position and you have fans that want Georgiev in net and ADA to score a hat trick.

If he was still here Fox, Trouba and Schneider wouldn't be the Right side of our defense right now. I am fine with it

DeAngelo and Fox would be redundant. There is also no way they could retain another defenseman that will ultimately make 7-8mil per season.

true but we got nothing for an exceptional player- Like Tony says in the article- he should have been quietly traded.

gonna be interesting what Carolina does with Tony

he's only making 1 million now, but he's a RFA after the season, not a UFA

I don't think anyone would argue that. I was so pissed at the time strictly from an asset management perspective. Though, given what happened I don't think it would be easy to keep it under wraps. Still so incredibly stupid though.

I think he is a prime candidate for an offer sheet. But Carolina is definitely in the drivers seat if none come his way.

very amateurish- very unlike the Ranger org that usually does things quietly with class.

I would like to point out given their history that some of what transpired must have been pretty serious to get to that point.

he literally might be the most under paid NHL star when comparing the # of games and his production with salary and eligibility for UFA status-
