Jarry could have done a little better on a couple rebounds, and opened up a little too much on one. But by and large, those just aren't bad goalie goals, it's giving up the opportunity. DeSmith was a victim of a lot of this as well.

Still over 90% save on the evening. That's impressive.

According to Pensburgh, Domingue may have taken a puck to the inside of his skate foot during the morning skate.

Modern goalie skates are lighter and have a higher rise from the blade to sole.
Part of lighter is losing the external shell cowling. Both removing the shell and higher blade help gain edge for lateral mobility while down. From the pictures I can tell this is what Domingue is using.

Both changes may expose the goalie to more potential injuries like this. Remains to be seen, but based on experience, I suspect they also place more stress on the hips.

It's been a weird season and we are only at the halfway point. These games will happen. Let's see how they come out tonight after that game.

Watching that Crosby PPG, he just excels (to an insane level) at the fundamentals of the game. When he was younger, I always said he'd do one thing that would make my jaw drop with some dazzling, dynamic play. Now, as he's gotten older, he doesn't need to do that anymore because he's still better than just about everyone at just playing good fundamental hockey. I still say he's the sixth best player of all time, and that's not a knock on him.

I don't think that's a knock at all when you've got Wayne, Mario, Jagr, Broduer, Lidstrom, Orr, Howe, etc.

And that's how, I meant it, but some on here may be all, "OMFG D00D, STOP BEING SUCH FLYERZZ!" In my book, it's (in order):
1. Orr
2. Gretzky
3. Lemieux
4. Howe
5. Jagr
6. Crosby

I think you have to have a separate list for goalies; how can you compare Wayne Gretzky to Patrick Roy? Also, as great as Lidstrom was, I'd consider putting Ray Bourque ahead of him, but that's my pro-Bourque bias.

Feds what do you think the HOF GM in Edmonton is going to do to right the ship?

They have to hire a HOF caliber GM first.

And one of the rarest occurrences also happened with Dominik Simon finding the back of the net.

This made me laugh. Maybe there's hope I can find Bigfoot this weekend.

Did you see his reaction? Simon was the most surprised person in the building.

Hmmm...I thought Ken Holland was inducted into the HOF this past year. Is that not correct?

Nah

But I was asking out of genuine curiosity. Has it ever crossed your mind to just not be a chode every once in a while?

I realize you can’t argue with 99’s numbers but I don’t think he could even get the puck off of Crosby’s stick 1-1 in his prime.
