Hey Shawn,

I have some old Upper Deck cards back from 1991-1993, not sure if there is a market for them but I do have a Pavel Bure and Jaromir Jagr rookie card. All the cards have been protected in binders with plastic sleeves.

There's a market, but not one dripping in dollars. The Bure and Jagr are worth something, but we're talking $10-$15 ungraded (or even into single digits).

I remember when the brown-bottoms boxes of 90/91 Upper Deck Series 2 French were selling for hundreds of dollars...and then it came out that Upper Deck had warehouses full of the stuff and the bottom dropped out.

They pulled something similar with the Griffey Jr rookies: reportedly made deals with dealers to send them bundles of the individual Griffey's contingent on them buying X number of other assorted selections from the set also. UD has some interesting dealings in their past.

Cryptocurrency, in my opinion, will play a more and bigger role in our lives in the near future. I already see how easily cryptocurrency can take the place of "standard" flat money. For instance, I could Top Up Mobile or Buy Gift Card with cryptocurrency. I can purchase Buy gift card for various products, including games and apps. I don't believe it will magically disappear, therefore. This is not how things operate in our world.
