No considering his history, he lacks point-generation consistency, and the 200 ft game.
He doesn't drive play like most players at the $9MM level . He's not worth exceeding th $9MM level. Ideally I'd like to see his AAV at $8.5 - 9MM, for 6 years. So maybe next season at $7.75 then increase at $500M increments. His last season salary would be around $10.25MM. But it may take the $9MM to keep him in a CBJ sweater !!
