I still think he undervalued that theyll get for Miller. At the very least it's Nylander, Knies, Sandin, Lilly, 2 firsts, and Marner.

I've never seen a trade that is so perfectly balanced for both teams!

Willy for Tom Wilson…

A. Viable ?
B. Worth it ?

I would do it, It would definitely shake things up.

I just don’t think Wilson is what we are missing most.
I’d like to see Willy used for a good dman if possible.

Mac did say they are going to shake the roster up.. Wilson brings a ton to the table …

Willy does also though.

Caps have enough grit even without Wilson… Willy adds a dimension they don’t have enough of …

I mean thinking about 58/34 & Wilson… that would be an absolute nightmare for any team…

No way I replace Marner for Wilson on that line. Why you’d have Matthews with two guys who aren’t play makers is a bit of a mystery.

(Good on them - cause it works on todays NHL)

Man does Tbay complain more than any team aside from Edmonton. Holy crap. Every play! Funny thing is it’s almost immediately after they blatantly pick trip hook or hold a player. Geez. I could care less who wins but I’d rather the whiners not be winners.

…McDavid and Oil do take the cake though. Although McDavid is the most talented (not best ‘player’) player in league so he may get a bit of a pass.

Both good in the corners and can find 34 easily. Wilson better hands & finisher than 58 … and 34 is a terrific passer as well …

16 would help 91 tremendously- and he needs it much more than 34 now that he’s on the downslope of his career … would balance out the top 6 -

Probably moot anyways…

Stop with the Wilson talk.

As a Leaf, he would get 15 games, then 40, then a full season.

I seriously don't think the League would allow a Wilson type player on the Leafs. He would not last a year.

Keefe needs to learn how to publicly complain about officiating and do a post game cry like Jon Pooper. How else could you explain only 2 minutes on the McGoonah hit.

I dislike Tampa but they have a legitimate beef on the second Colorado goal

Good to see Maroon still has diplomatic immunity like he did against the Leafs. He slashes Manson after a goal and breaks his stick doing so and doesn’t even get 2 minutes. What a joke.

Oh I don’t know man. I get the stick was there with Bellmare - but it was one hand on stick and he literally jumped in the air while staring atvyhe ref. I think it was Manson (?) that had his stick in there - he’s not the strongest man alive to hook with one a hand an nhl player and grown man off his feet into the air.

Even so - Maroon literally role his stick on the back of Manson after the goal and on the McDonough clear as day hit from behind that was only called 2mon boarding - Stamkos of you watch the replay was pissed at call and took a slap shot at the refs skates that made the call.

Yep - even if there was a missed call on the Av’s 2nd goal (which I don’t think there was) Tampa has had the benefit of non-calls in this game at at 3 to 1 ratio or better all game long.

(I’m just stating the crazy ones here)
Oh and Stamkos absolutely blew up Toews in Avs zone mid way through second on a pick and Toews was slow to get up - Stamkos looked immediately at both refs it was hilarious. Toews looked at the ref standing right there and was shocked like ‘what the ____ man’

I’m not saying there haven’t been more in Tampas favour but that was a hook. I’m sick of talking about refs though.
