Man. Those are all great moments. The time Tanner Glass broke his hand blocking a Shea Weber clapper and then blocked 2 more in a row on the PK really sticks out too.

I thought you would've gone with Oprik hitting those 3 Red Wings in 15 seconds.
My number one Mario goal came in Philadelphia. He had undergone his last chemo treatment in the morning, and no one expected him to play that afternoon. He chartered a private plan to Philly to play.
When he came out, the crowd gave him a standing ovation. Then he scored, and the crowd, again, gave him a standing ovation. Then he scored again, and there was a small applause, kind of "Yes, you are phenomenal, we get it; please stop."
Sid, for me, was the first winter classic shootout goal, because it's just so iconic with the throwback jerseys and the snow falling; it was the NHL's dream come true.
For Malkin, I'll agree as much as I hated it; that slapshot goal was more than a goal, it was a statement.

My favorite Mario goal: when he went coast to coast in game 2 of the finals vs the North Stars...9 year old me watched it live on CBC and I couldn't believe what I saw. I remember thinking he was magical.
My favorite Jagr goal: the one RW posted. 10 year old me almost sh!t his pants watching that live on CBC. Unreal.
My favorite Sid goal: the golden goal "Iggy!". I had a house full of people drunk as fvck there when it happened...it was the middle of the afternoon....that party went on for a long time...
My favorite Malkin goal: His very first in NHL..on Brodeur...tapped it 5 hole. That summer when he basically defected from Russia and disappeared completely under the radar for days to get Pittsburgh I was just so f'n excited to see him play. The goal was nothing special, hell, in another game there might of been a whistle haha but I remember thinking this was the start of a long special career.

Favorite 68 and 66 goals came in the same game:
That Game 1 vs Blackhawks. I've never heard the Civic Arena as loud as it was when Mario scored the winner. Being there live, You could see Lemieux basically orchestrate the goal before the faceoff and then it happened almost exactly as Mario seemingly drew it up.
My Favorite 87 goal was his OT GWG vs Philly after Derian Hatcher performed impromptu oral surgery on Sid. Intro to the Flyer rivalry and what a statement.
For 71 it has to be the Geno goal vs Carolina in 2009 ECF.
Gary Thorne takes away from any call he has. Thorne hated The Pens an Lemieux for years and the fake admiration for Mario in that call has always bugged me. But in general I have never liked Thorne as a broadcaster. Thank heavens he is not involved in the current version of ESPN coverage.

Gary Thorne would be infinitely better than a mid tier college football announcer.
So many moments to choose from. Mario: When he lifted the Cup for the first time. Jagr: The goal in game 1 in 92. Sid: Lifting the Cup in 2009. Malkin: The goal against Carolina in 2009.
