Really curious on how much he gets elsewhere.

I still think his best move would be to stay in Toronto for 4 years at 4M. But maybe that's not even on the table. Or maybe he wants way more.

From what I understand, MAF biggest priority is to find a place where his family can settle for a while so his kids can stop making friends only to lose them the year after.

Toronto makes sense if he plans to retire in his home in Ste-Julie on the southshore of Montreal where he spends his summer (I cleaned the guy's pool as a student like 15 years ago), since his family could easily come see him next door.

Well Montreal makes zero sense from a hockey stand point.

And maybe he's fine settling somewhere else. Who know's really?

I just thought being close to Montreal on a short term contract made sense if he doesn't want to move his family again and plans on retire in his current home.
