We don't know much more about the Kirill Kaprizov situation in Russia, other than what was reported that he was denied entry into the U.S. twice.

?????That doesn't make sense???????

Was Kirill denied entry in the US or denied EXIT from Russia?

I can't see him being denied entry here.

They speak highly about Talbot but will the locker room suffer?

for a cap strapped team I really dont understand this move. Bill has to be banking on some rookie contracts and league mins to fill out the roster. So you sign a 37 year old goalie to tandem up with your 35 year old? Plus the optics to Talbot are demoralizing.

I know that I have been a major proponent of the Guerin plan, but I am starting to wonder a bit about it now. I think they really have to trade Talbot away now. If they could trade away Talbot, that would put them at about at about $5.1 mil in cap space. Rossi added to roster, drops it back down to $4.2 in cap space. Trade away Kulikov and trade for James Reimer from SJ, exact same salaries. Maybe part of the plan was that Talbot WOULD be traded before the 3rd season of the contract?

In any scenario, the Wild have to move at least 1 defenseman. I am pretty sure BG is trying to get whatever he can for Kulikov, but the Miller situation in Vancouver might be making him hold all his moves until that pans out. I do really think the Wild should move on from Greenway and Jost right now as well.

I think Krill has masked a few of his sins. I cant help but think Talbot has to be gone as how do you lose Fiala, turn around and sign a marginally better goalie when your tight for cap, and just to lose 85 pts of scoring and think your improving? There has to be more to come.
