MAF is slightly older, slightly more expensive, and at least recently, slightly worse at goaltending than Talbot.

I think MAF does have a higher chance to get hot in the playoffs and really carry a team... but also has a higher chance to completely suck and doom a team as well.

Not sure I like this move. MAF at this stage in his career is best when playing 45-50 games. Having Talbot no doubt would have given the Wild the best goalie tandem in the league which would of potentially helped with another successful regular season however we know its about the second season. Be interesting to see how this plays out.

If Gus is given consistent starts, not like last year here in Ottawa, once a month....Gus will be just fine!
