There are a lot of options I think and depends a lot on how ready and willing they are to roll with the kids. I could see Wennberg going to the wing even and let Geekie stay as he was last season as line 4 center.

I dont see breaking up Oleksiak - Larsson, and would say its probably more likely Soucy - Schultz as pairing 2. Dunn really is a bottom pairing guy.

With Dreidger out till roughly January Id say its pretty set with Gru - Jones for a while.

I don't want Wright anywhere near Wennberg. Wennberg plays a perimeter, very timid game and that is not who Wright needs to be learning from. With your lines, I'd swap Gourde and Wennberg and let Wright play against tough matchups. He's ready defensively for that, and if he can play more of a Gourde style on top of the offensive skills he already has he'll be a monster. The biggest criticism of Wright last year was that he played waaay too timid. You don't want to encourage that by making him play with our own King Timid.

Not a big Wennberg fan either. Dont think winger prospects are really ready and doubt they keep him out so more where do you put him in? Maybe something like this ends up how it goes?! Really hard to say.

Burakovsky - Gourde - Eberle
Shwartz - Beniers - Wennberg
McCann - Wright - Donskoi
Tanev - Geekie - Lind/Hayden/Kuhlman

Oleksiak - Larsson
Soucy - Schultz
Dunn - Borgen

Grubauer / Jones

Kind of interested in this lineup. Would it make sense to put Wight with Gourde on the second line and have them alternate between wing/center depending on matchup? Something like this for the forward group:

McCann - Beniers - Eberle
Burakovski - Wright - Gourde
Schwartz - Wennenberg - Donskoi
Tanev - Geekie - Lind/Hayden/Kuhlman

Too many shooters on the top line? Can see this lineup going a bunch of different ways.
