I don’t care if he had played his whole career with a team like the Habs who have more banners and numbers hanging than they know what to do with. A guy like that goes in the rafters.

What's even more appropriate is the fact that the Sharks are going to raise Doug Wilson's banner forst on Oct 15th. They should also retire his #24 but without him, Patty doesn't thrive and Jumbo doesn't come to San Jose. Its a class act by the organization to recognize them both and in this order
