Bulis prospect pyramid.

I don't like the rating of the tiers, there's smaller gaps between either top 6 or bottom 6 and either top 4 or bottom pair.

Danila Klimovich is a conundrum. The big winger has elite aspects to his game, but they’re incredibly unrefined. In the defensive zone, he can charitably be described as a work in progress. While he has top-six potential, it’s entirely uncertain if he’ll ever realize that potential, so he lands in Tier 3.
A 18 year old that played in a league which a bunch of the players that are NHL call ups and people are knocking him down because of his defensive game.

Interesting link.

I don't know if its because he's been at Uni for so long, but Aidan McDonough is one prospect i'm excited to see one day in the pro's.

Fingers crossed.

Disappointing to see Mikey D and Jett Woo drop so far down the prospect rankings.

Hopefully McDonough has a strong season.

Organization has newer fresher prospects now that people think the world off, though not some the way he ranked them.

I don't quite understand how he put Lockwood in the same category as just about that entire group he is with. Lockwood has been steps lower than all of those players in every year of development.

Klimovich, McDonough, Forsell, Karlsson I would say all have middle 6 potential. I think we can see that Lockwood doesn't now.

Injuries & covid has really hurt Woo’s development. He really needs a big break out season at Abby.

MDP seems bitter after going through difficult circumstances. If he focussed more on the now he’d be better for it. Prove recent G picks are behind him & do the work.

Lockwood has the motor & desire just not enough offence for his size & style. Role player depth.

That and the fact that not all prospects pan out.

A pretty good synopsis of what Hog faces.

https://canucksarmy.com/2...cks-top-nine-next-season/

Opportunity can come & go fast as rosters evolve. He’s risking falling down the depth chart & needs to make a bang in camp. I like him but has to produce & make his case.
