is it possible to unload Mcginn, kappy or dumo? I doubt anyone would take carters deal.

I doubt Hextall sends his boy Friedman down either. Rutta contract was such a bad idea. So was Kaps too.

I find it odd that Wilson added Dumos contract in there. Now if they extend Dumo we can add it in for sure.

The true issues are Kap and Rutta signings. If we we're able to make 3 contracts disappear, I'd pick Kap, Rutta and McGinn. I would leave Zucker and Dumo just walk after this season.

Oh you mean freeing up a good 8-9m for maybe an impact forward? Nooooo. Ain't happenin. We'll spend the money on 4 useless plugs.

Hahahaha, it just sucks that he did a good job with Geno and Tanger and used their savings for Rakell but then (frank)ing went into cruise control and didn't care after lol

Edit: Then he decided to wake up and sign Heinen back. I did like him at 1 mil, that's a no brainer.

Vic made a comment a couple of weeks ago that seems pretty accurate. Got the big moves right, but it seems like he lacked a plan for the depth of the team.

Yep that's basically it. He did get Heinen at a good deal though.

Bolsonaro seems like a POS but I do appreciate him calling out Dicaprio for spending so much time on yachts and then criticizing Brazil on climate. *not that I don't find it absurd that the Amazon is being burnt down for crop space.
- MacPatty

He’s a fn id!ot. Misogynistic. A lot of the things he does resembles the nazi. Not kidding. Just look for it, really.
Bolsonaro represents stupidity and “old school” ignorance. He’s destroying our economy with Paulo Guedes. A government for the rich only.

=====

You’re all very sad and angry people and I feel bad for you. You’re not true Americans. You’re traitors and morons. You’ve been programmed by anger and fear to hate other side. I wish you all the best and hopefully you find your ways to no longer having white anger.

Peace out everyone. Go Pens.

I feel you. Bolsonaro’s supporters only think about having guns for the “people of good faith”.
We see a lot of them as frustrated with something in their life and trying to act tough or turn to violence.

I was looking @ Ty Smith’s waiver exempt status and he has like 36 games left in the NHL to become waiver eligible (if you reach 150 games).

I still believe we could see him starting the season with us somehow.

Armchair GM sorts by highest cap hit as the default. Petry has a higher cap hit.

Signing Kap at $3.2M when we could get Rodriguez at $1.75-$2M or Milano at around $1M is, to be extremely kind, a poor decision.

Also not a fan of the Rutta signing, but can live with it I suppose. There were better options for less but the bank wasn't broken on it...

Of course with any of these "fan speculations" is an assumption that all players want to play in Pittsburgh, which may not be true.

... and just another member of the Penguins 6ish mill cap hit club haha

EDIT: when I wrote this I was thinking Rust was 5.725....its 600k less...what a deal for Rusty...hopefully he can stay healthy and doesn't miss 20 to 30 games again this season.

Specially the Kapanen signing...he was supposed to get a $1.5-2M prove me deal at best...and most of us didn't even want him back. Oh well. He'll shut all of us up with a 45 point season.

The Rutta signing we just didn't see it coming. Questionable.
