Thanks Carol. The WJC shows how far Canucks are away from adding prospects. The AHL guys have bottom six or 3rd pairing D at best to develop. So either improve on the roster or sell high for a 5 year rebuild plan.

Maybe Canucks are closer to contending. Perhaps keeping JTM is a key to success for the next 5 years.

Thanks Carol, I haven't watched any of the juniors, I tried watching a game of the Hlinka/Gretzky thing but found it very boring. The Canucks better be entertaining this season or I may just ignore their games.

It’s not the sexiest D but for some reason with Demko they were good on GAA. It was the PK that killed them early. Seems they addressed that with Coach BB and now added players good there too.

Edit: wanted to add that Rathbone and Dermont might make it look better in a full season.
